Bitterly disappointing to see so many Labor MPs vote against working rights for sex workers, especially in contrast with the wonderful work our NT comrades are doing in government on this in the top end. Shame

Apparently sex workers desire to be safe at work, be able to report crimes and have workplace protections is "most radical" and "beyond reasonable" according to SA MP . Perhaps Dennis missed the NT bill success?

The is NOT decrim The Swedish Model is NOT decrim The is NOT decrim They are ALL just the same criminalisation model rebranded by non-sex workers/prohibitionists that want to discriminate against and marginalise sex workers

For supporters of the - discrimination, denial of rights and violence against sex wrkrs are collateral damage to achieve their goal of controlling others' bodies and choices. Their obsession with deeply patriarchal & flawed ideology is costing lives

Police investigate police and find police did nothing wrong (ever). Great job police! Put this in the same filing cabinet as 'evidence of crime in the SA sex industry' (hint: there isn't any).

Sex work is work. Violence & exploitation happen because people like you push criminalisation to discriminate against & marginalise sex workers. Give sex workers rights - give them autonomy & agency. The right to unionise & be safe at work

Sex workers are "targeting" you because you're pushing for laws that intentionally discriminates against and marginalises them. If anyone is being targeted, it's sex workers & their rights.

I was hoping this tour to ADL would be the end of criminalisation in SA but it seems the useless parl assbags decided to keep us criminals. Fuck you. Fuck you right up the ass with a hotsauce, sandpaper and spikes. The blood of sex workers is on your hands.

How about giving sex workers a choice too? Decriminalisation allows them to choose by providing them with access to their workers & human rights.

See any of the letters over the weeks stating their disappointment in the gov inability to even allow discussion around ? Or do you only listen to things you want to?

“Adding insult to the injury, it failed even to pass the second reading vote, meaning it was killed off without detailed debate or the chance for amendment. Of the 24 MPs who voted against it in a conscience vote – Shame on you

Gutted to read that South Australia's bill didn't pass the lower house. How can the continued criminalisation of the sex industry be justified in a state that borders our own, and has watched decrim work in NSW? Heartbreaking and frustrating. Sigh.

Have you ever stopped to think how weird it is that our consensual sex lives can be policed?
