Why are they "fools" if what they are doing ( / etc) is working for them, especially as most are having to 'justify' their approach against systemic & societal obstinacy in the face of their own evidence - achieving results that 90% can't while following ?

Found my old diary while staying at my parents’. I attended the DAFNE course in 2010 with a HbA1c of 12.1% and was frustrated with clinic appointments that meant nothing to me. This was the first of many turning points and meeting others with changed everything. 🙂

Hey and The sick day rules have been so great over the years. I'm wondering now if we could have some Steroid Rules for use post injection or during a period of taking tablets. I've been correcting all night & am too tired for a day of it.

Going from having doctors literally telling me I am going to die early and yelling at me to having them praise my progress and be super happy at me for my diabetes control is SUCH a huge change that it's still kind of shocking to me! Thank you
