We are saddened by the passing of D-Day veteran John 'Jock' Hutton who served in the 13th (Lancashire) Parachute Battalion. Last year, Jock touched the hearts of many, parachuting over Normandy at the commemorations. His courage and spirit must never be forgotten.

So very sad to hear of Hutton’s passing... we watched him valiantly take a jump with those commemorating D-Day onto the dropzone at Sannerville last May. My deep condolences to his family and friends.
