This went off very well, Nightbane adapted to really well and I think I managed to develop some really good tension as we played. Two PCs only survived due to their supernatural transformations!

Cypher of Cthulhu! Using , we quickly built characters from a general cast that would be investigating the situation (a constable, a Scotland yard detective, a local villager, someone who sees visions, an occultist, and a book writer). It was awesome!

AH! Horror Mode has advanced to 2! If people roll a 1 OR a 2, a GM Intrusion occurs. 😬 We're getting into the spooky stuff.

Printing simple maps of Sokol Keep for the game set in Faerun. I always come back to Cypher and forget how simple it is. Conversion on the fly.

Been doing some deep brain thinking about this upcoming at-the-table campaign I'm kicking off this weekend. I think I want to revisit a setting I've not touched in many a year but I'm not sure if the group will want to follow.

Basically I have nothing but D&D 5th and Pathfinder available to me locally, and my recent attempts at finding a game online was unfruitful. If this rules-medium game is so rare, I can't imagine finding enough players, even online.
