North council voted unanimously for status quo "less safe" unprotected painted bike lanes between car lane and parked cars on main UCB corridor. Missed opportunity for safe streets for kids and for all low-speed vehicle users. Change is hard.

Good lunch today at Had the Club, it was very tasty a little sloppy but enjoyable. If you're looking for a quiet lunch, this is not the place. I'll go back only to sit outside and hopefully they won't still have a shortage of fries

what becomes of a vote if the stub is not removed from the ballot and it still goes in the box? Witnessed an ElectionsCanada rep at advance polls fail to detach before it went in – just wondering!

decided to put my advance polling station 6 1/2 km outside city centre and NOT on a bus route. I'm 1.5 km from downtown and the Community Centre but had to drive 13km to vote.
