Good part: we are testing more than ever. So far ok: deaths haven't spiked...yet. Bad: Case number has increased, which wouldn't be terrible, except... VERY BAD: Hospitalizations up again.

Cases are up significantly but what about deaths? Deaths rise and fall with cases but with a time lag Those who argued that cases were up but that deaths wouldn’t rise were proven wrong Now in the third wave, same argument made

Cases are going up but what about deaths? There’s good news & bad news The bad news is deaths ARE going up The good news is deaths are rising more slowly Likely due to better testing & better treatment However, increased lag may play a role
