I don't understand why anyone ever thought EU would budge? As soon as proposal was announced, I & thousands of political amateurs like me said there's no way EU will accept that. Why has it taken so-called "professional" politicians so long to realise it?

At these crucial times we need those Brexiteers in Cabinet to show leadership on just like Boris Johnson & David Davis have demonstrated. We know that certain Cabinet Brexiteers want to be PM (Male & Female). Staying silent on would certainly not win our support

Donald Tusk, speaking on behalf of the EU27, has explicitly said today that Theresa May's Deal "will not work". It's time the Tories backed calls to remain in the Single Market and Customs Union - the best option short of staying in the EU.

May has said a softer Brexit wouldn't be leaving the EU and a harder Brexit wouldn't protect jobs. So now is dead, whichever way she goes next, Brexit is a failure on her own terms. With her failure, she must call a

After the UK’s efforts to force the EU to accept ended in tatters in May’s negotiating strategy has collapsed. This is the hour of the opposition. But will Labour seize the moment? Will Corbyn now support a ?

On what basis is Theresa May ramming through ? She was never elected by Conservative Party members, only elected at 2017 GE on basis of a different prospectus, no vote in Cabinet, never agreed by the Parliamentary Party or voluntary party or sanctioned by Parliament....

It's what we always talked about before came forward. wrote the plan, the EU want it, and it's what is best for Britain. Let's change course and negotiate an as equal partners instead of being rule-takers through Chequers!

They need us more than we need them! They'll have to accept whatever deal WE tell them we want. It'll be a bespoke deal. It'll be the easiest trade deal in history. Because you see.... THEY need US more than WE need THEM. Oh. Oh SHIT.....

Note on democracy: We have general elections maximum every 5 years. Precisely because people can, will & should change their minds. In 2017, 70 seats changed hands. Having a second ref, or a is not anti democracy. It is democracy at work.

Are you as amazed as I am by everyone’s shock that has been rejected? It’s almost masochistic in nature. They kid themselves into thinking Chequers is workable & acceptable, despite the EU saying many times it wasn’t, in order to show mock outrage at the EU later.
