Today in 2000, -creator of the popular comic strip and the world of Charlie Brown & Snoopy-died of colon cancer at age 77. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1922), Schulz grew up in Saint Paul, served in WW2, & then created the most popular comic strip ever.
