If I get the job I applied for yesterday, I'll live in a county with 2 official languages: 🇭🇷🇮🇹, in a town where Italians make almost 20% of the population. And I'll live at the seaside.😍My almost life-long dream. (Hi Eurovision 2017 and 2019!)

Italy charges! There's no stopping the Italian stallion Francesco Gabbani racing down the odds to become the bookies favourite! He seems almost certain to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 by a landslide. It'll take an act of God to topple this bull!

For real. One of my favorite things to do is compare and contrast our different cultures and see how much we have in common.

Today we celebrated “community” by looking at how much we are alike and different. The Ks absolutely LOVED this.

Celebrate strengths. Encourage Ss to see their own light. Our strengths are not the same and that is a WONDERFUL thing. Diversity matters. It makes us stronger, better and more connected. way to go

A scholar was amazed today because I had her country's flag hanging on my wall. She said it was the first time she's ever seen it in a classroom and it made her SO happy; she couldnt stop staring at it.

What this segment needs is more liberal voices in agreement with themselves. I don't think 8 is enough, a dozen, or even a baker's dozen, will really drive home whatever point they're all saying the same thing on.
