Just completed a talk to carers about falls & the importance of physical activity & exercise. 👏 One woman told me her husband is 103 yrs old next week, still uses hand weights to exercise and is able to get himself off the floor independently.👏

Boris Johnson said he wants to cut tax for the 3 million highest earners in the UK This will cost the country £9.6billion a year.... That’s £9.6billion NOT going into NHS, carers pockets , mental health treatments & disability support.

The new Young Carer Grant from will open for applications this autumn. The grant will be awarded to young carers aged 16 to 18 who do at least 16 hours of caring a week and don't qualify for Carer’s Allowance.
