What kind of things enter the mind of a ? This. When I sit down with the solicitor soon, what do I say are my wishes for Brendan Bjorn's care if I should die before him? No one I personally know could/would take him. Options? I'll have to see if there even are any.

Honestly? I miss hugs. Adult/peer relationships & interaction (be they platonic friendships or otherwise) are often very seldom present as a lone parent full time . It's one of the least talked about issues, too. .

BB was sent home Wed from school, sick. He didn't get sick - until late last night. It hasn't stopped since. Not able to keep any formula down. Dioralyte is the plan to avoid dehydration & A&E (corridor) for an IV. Fingers crossed no A&E. It's the last place I want him.

My Doctor's Surgery sent me a reminder for a free healthcheck either at a pharmacy or at the doctor's practice. If you are a please give yourself a bit of care and have a checkup. Only take 30 mins for a check up.

When the last call of the day is to check on a carer & they say ‘I was about to call it makes you wonder, the universe & timing. Able to signpost to support & other advice. If you know a carer, take that time to check in on them. It may make all the difference

6 years to the day since my dear Mum died, 6 years since I became Dad's . Sometimes feels like yesterday, sometimes like a long road. It's been the most tiring, stressful, frustrating, rewarding & enriching thing I've done.

What an excellent Lewisham Mental Health forum. Led by carers for empowerment, understanding mental health services and engagement. Plus it was nice for a carer to bring cake for a birthday

It’s and being an unpaid can impact on your mental health. All the things suggested to improve mental health like walks outside, 8 hrs sleep, eating well and speaking to friends are near impossible when caring. Carers need better support.
