If you think ggg won look at his emotion to losing , none. He wasn’t surprised because he knew he didn’t do enough to win , he expected that outcome after being pushed back all night after talking mess after first fight

Wasn't as controversial as rumored to be on my card. Had it 8-4, 116-112 . Absolutely walked through fire- a performance for the ages. Backed the bigger man up for 9 rds, won 8 of em IMO. GGG won last 3. Had 8 rds close. 3/4 clean rds to Canelo.

Very interesting piece from Jim Lampley at the end of The Fight about popular opinion over who don’t and seems most media and fans lean to GGG

Rewatched the fight. Still pretty much the same thoughts. Really close. High level stuff. But I’d like to see Canelo in with some new middleweights going forward

Some of the Golden Knights (Smith, Merrill, Tuch, Lindberg, Carpenter, Marchessault, Reaves, Engelland) showed the new guys (Holden, Pacioretty, Stastny, Carr) what a typical (k)night out in Vegas looks like w dinner () & a show () 📸

The judges at the fight! Robbery again BUT this time not so much like the 1st fight. Canelo fought well but still GGG won. He is older & not as marketable i guess. It’s politics. Bad decision!

Just watched a re-run of ...wat an unbelievable fight..Canelo landed some amazing power shots, but for me GGG won by way of precision jabs+ huge shots..but either way big respect to both guys..has to be a trilogy now.

Abel Sánchez: I can’t complain about the decision, but it’s close enough to warrant a third fight. Canelo fought a great fight, congratulations.
