I am not really interested in talking about the socccer match right now. We need to talk about the situation in Cameroon. The country needs help. Have you seen videos of women and babies being killed? I don’t understand how this is okay?

Trying not to be irritated that the world is suddenly really interested in due to their football team, and yet they have no interest in the humanitarian disaster and conflict unfolding there.

I wonder why this issue does not have the kind of media coverage that it deserves. This is and we are acting like it doesn’t matter. African leaders keep acting like the presidency is the birthright or inheritance. What the hell?

This team are embarrassing. They're clearly disrespecting the referee, being violent towers the ref and England, yet they're the victim? It's not racism, it's following the letter of the law. Grow up ffs and learn some respect

Yes! We have long needed a celebrity to bring this atrocity into the light. As Founder of a nonprofit school in I have followed this devastation for 3 years. Babies burned in hot oil, others shot, people burned alive, massive govt military escalation ag Anglophones.

If actually disgusts me how the media turns a blind eye to things like this. If this was to occur in a well developed country it would be a totally different story and would grab attention from media all around the world 🙄

Loads losing their shit on here about being robbed. Piss off, they’ve not been robbed at all! Whether you like it or not, VAR got both decisions correct. Oh, and while we’re at it, they’re lucky not to be down to 9 with their first-half skullduggery.

I've been patient with this VAR stuff so far, but this stinks of bullshit. It's not about whether the calls are right, but about how the refs are coming across as winding up the players. I would be pissed too if I was in their shoes and I'm not cool with it.

War is like the end of the world. My world has ended ev'ry day for 3 yrs now. It's recreated, when i hear a familiar voice on the other end of the phone. I greet "how"? They say "fine". Fine means there were gunshots, shells and blood but we aren't dead. Not yet.
