A big thank you to our Assistance League volunteers for bringing Inquiry & Innovation inspiration to all of the 3rd graders in our district today! Students loved asking questions, thinking critically & getting their own copies of the Ada Lace book to take home!

Our 'No Homework" Policy has prepared students for this time, when creativity is unleashed in a self-directed fashion, rather than Ss waiting for an assignment given by their T. Well-said, !

After conducting observations and interviews, our third graders wrote fables to address different problems in kinder and 1st grade. Today they finally got to read their fables to the K/1 students.

Hosted my first meeting with most of my class today (not all shown). We were all so happy to see each other. We all miss being in the classroom together. Moving forward, the students have decided they’d like to meet up for a daily read aloud. I’m stoked!

Our first Scholar Group "dress rehearsal". 🙌 It wasn't pretty by any means, but it was still powerful. Celebrations: LOTS of academic language, scholar-to-scholar higher order thinking inquiry questions, & risk taking!

I’m grateful that gives me a way to empower my ELs to practice their spoken English while they’re at home. Today they chose a word to define that they’ll see in their ELA lesson with later this week. Teamwork makes the dream work 👏🏼
