Update on . When I saw her today to monitor for oral care, nursing informed me that she had a high fever last night. Her health is deteriorating. 🙏

You can also practice raising and lowering your pitch while speaking (or rapping) to improve your prosody

Can you make a board specific to PT? This would help her communicate with us in our therapy sessions!

Maybe some movement words, simple exercise words, and pain level/exhaustion words? We can send you some pictures of the stretches that we are working on to include as well. I think that should cover all the bases, thank you this will really help us!!

Yes. Her word retrieval skills are getting better. We can definitely work on her declarative and semantic memory during therapy so can work on remembering facts or events from her life as well as general world knowledge.

My support group is for people with TBIs and their loved ones. It is a diverse group with an average age of 25. There is so much support involved and it's free!

Let me know when she is physically and cognitively able to find small employment opportunities. I know it is down the road, but I would love to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
