Very proud to announce to join and ! Our tireless efforts will show a low number of to prove we don't need ! Or if the number is high it will prove is superfluous, and our precious pavement will be kept safe for parking either way!

I know it’s more a gadget than actual science, but you can bet your bottom dollar this is going to get used by certain taxi trade charlatans as a pretext to rip it up for another fossil fuel lane. Not a great look.

Around 4:30pm today on Embankment. We regret to inform the UKIP London Assembly group and certain fringe taxi organisations that people are using the cycleway, even on Sundays. Almost like that 680-ish from a rainy Sunday last October was an outlier 🤔🤔🤔

this morning: the counter not too good at counting! At least 90 bikes passed in my coffee break. Or does it update infrequently?

At the on Embankment shortly after it recorded its millionth cyclist. Building a cycle track here was an idea I suggested to at a conference in 2012 before his appointment as London’s first Cycling Commissioner. It’s turned out nicely.

On the upside, the counter seems to be ticking over nicely today. (29 April, about 4pm, 5,918 today, 41,646 since switch on 23? April)

Ah fuck! Trust me to choose today to lock myself out of my locker (it's electric keypad combo and office can't find override key) so won't be cycling home this evening....Gonna miss for 1M :(
