My heart is so full today. I was able to be a teacher again. I was able to see my kids again. I was able to put on nice clothes and feel like a human again. I’m not sure what this school year will look like, but I am sooooo ready for it🖤

Today we explored the trails around our TMP outdoor classroom. It was the perfect day to get outside and learn. Ss were excited to find acorns after learning about the lifecycle of Oak trees during reading.

A chilly morning on the prairie didn’t stop us from visiting our outdoor classroom. We saw the new garden and picked our raised bed (🤞), took a walk on the trail, and saw deer prints by the pond.

I let them spread out and “free play” for a mask break and they created their own game as a class! I love letting them GO and see where they take themselves! ❤️

One of my favorite things about teaching out on the prairie is watching the changing seasons from our classroom. Seeing the harvest of the field, the tree change, and watching the fog slowly clear. Nothing like a day out on the prairie.
