PAMIS Jul 19
Today is awareness day! Without an adult-sized changing bench, a ceiling track hoist, a peninsular toilet and plenty of space, carers and parents are often forced to change their loved ones in unsafe, undignified and unhygienic places.

The small indignity I felt in this photo, with my knickers round my ankles on a busy street, is nothing compared to that felt by disabled people, who often have to lie on toilet floors to have their continence needs met. We need more toilets NOW!

50 years ago TOMORROW we put a man, Neil Armstrong, on the moon. I’m sure he was able to pee while there. We can put a man on the moon, but not all disabled people can use a bathroom on earth. Time to get our work heads on and sort it out.

Brody is 7 years old and way too big for baby changing tables. He needs an adult-sized changing bench like the one in this photo that is height-adjustable. toilets provide all that he needs to go to the toilet safely and with dignity

was a week ago today! We loved seeing campaigners, venues, MP's and others show their support for toilets. BUT, it is vital we keep this attitude up all year round. needs to be shouted about until it is the norm.

It's awfully upsetting when my severely disabled daughter is deemed worthy of a germridden public toilet floor. What parent would accept this for their child. My daughter is equal & deserves to have her basic needs met with safety & dignity
