COVID-19 Is increasing at an alarming rate in prisons in Oromiyaa Region. In one of the prisons in Gindhir, Baalee, for instance, 28 of the 31 tested inmates turned out to be positive for COVID19 Yesterday.

Ethiopia has recorded 469 new covid 19 cases, 245 new recovered and 10 new deaths in the last 24 Hours. Total number of Covid 19 cases now stands at 17999 with 7195 people having fully recovered. A total of 284 deaths have been recorded in the country.

469 people have been tested positive for within 24hr test and 10 have passed away. Total confirmed cases have now reached 17999. Out of this total 7195 have recovered. Currently active patients are 10518
