I haven't been but I did visit College Lake nature reserve in Buckinghamshire yesterday. I managed to 'focus' on these flowers in very blustery conditions: Papaver rhoeas, Centaurea cyanus, Campanula trachelium, Knautia arvensis and Clematis vitalba.

Sea-Lavender on the shingle at Rye Harbour. This type is Rottingdean Sea-Lavender (Limonium hyblaeum). It’s only found in a few places, mostly near Brighton. It’s completely unrelated to Lavender
