reported a significant decline in the number of COVID-19 cases over the past three days, with the daily count averaging 29 from Tuesday through today. Statewide, the seven-day average of new daily cases is at the lowest level since July 14.

After dropping by 9 cases the previous week, the Health Department reported a slight increase in COVID cases last week. The daily average increased from 37 to 41 cases. Hospitalizations remained low, and one death was reported.

Update. One month ago 1 in 21 tests came back positive compared with 1 in 20 today. Not back to where we were pre-green phase but better than mid-July. This is trending in a good direction. Full Chart:
