Happy to see the update from Ms. Dudley. Disappointed she had to even go through this. Her contributions are priceless! I owe so much to her.

. Ms. Dudley selflessly served for decades. Every trailblazer in the field of communications from the SOC is indebted to Ms. Dudley, and you are too!

Ms. Dudley, is the heart of HU’s school of C. Without her, there’s no way I would be where I am in my career today. She’s an amazing advisor/mentor/Mom away from home. HU is doing a disservice to the next wave of students by letting her go

I never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Dudley, nor am I even in SOC, but what I do know is that Howard has too many low-quality faculty they could be dealing with instead of firing the apparent heart and soul of SOC.

Someone who has taught me a great deal about being a professional and branding myself in my career was let go of my alma mater today. She’s the heart beat of School of C!!

Ms. Dudley was really the heart of the School of Communications, providing us with endless opportunities and skills that will transpire into both our careers and our daily lives. Out of all the staff at Howard, she SHOULD still be here.

Ms. Dudley is literally the best employee at Howard. People traveled MILES for our career fairs. I’m sick.

I remember one day I walked in Ms.Dudley’s office — I was distraught because I still hadn’t secured a summer internship. Without hesitation, she stopped what she was doing and contacted every company that I had applied to. I walked out with a job.

Dear , : I am sure there are a lot of cost saving measures that can help the university moving forward. Letting Carol Dudley go is NOT the move. No sir!! Students and alumni for decades know her passion and greatness firsthand. She IS the SOC.
