6 years ago today I ran my first parkrun. 4 yrs to the day I ran my first marathon. Today I pick up my number for marathon no. 6. Pretty slow progression compared to some but I’m happy with that! Anyone else off to the expo today?

THREAD: Finally on the train home after an incredible day at the finish line field hospital. On reflection... marathon medicine it’s such a different beast. Wildly deranged physiology that corrects so rapidly.

Proof that if you don’t get what you want first time, try hard, train more and you will get there in the end. Thank you to everyone that came and supported me today

It's the first MRT event for James and John today. They successfully completed their new member training last month and are raring to go! We're delighted to have them join the team ☺️

Here are some action shots of our Leconfield House pupils at yesterday's . Almost 30 pupils were out of bed and down at the seafront for 6:30am, ready to help runners stay hydrated and motivated. A great effort for our local community. πŸ™Œβ€οΈπŸ₯€πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
