Very sad to hear of the passing of the wonderfully unique songwriter singer & pianist who helped create & recorded with Miles Davis. I was honored to know him & thrilled when he recorded this song & I wrote.

RIP , a true original. As kind & genuine a human being as he was a clever songwriter w/ his offbeat humor & irrepressible charm. We were proud to release 3 albums w/ Bob including his major label debut Right On My Way Home (1997) when he was 73!
