Last spring I visited as they had a plant fair. The bluebells in the woods looked beautiful. I’ll miss visiting this year.

Due to the current situations we was not able to raise any money at Lodge Road for Children with Cancer UK. We will rearrange this for next season, but a massive well done and thank you to all the players who have all raised and donated £200 for such a worthy cause.

A gorgeous female Cliff Mining Bee (Andrena thoracica) collecting pollen from bluebells. Despite its common name it can be found in gardens, I filmed this in mine in Falmouth.

Trees hush the wind, like fingers held gently against lips. Bluebells dance, like light, in the eyes of Spring. Birds sing love songs, as does my heart. Nearby, today.

I've just remembered there is a little piece of woodland I can walk to, to take pictures of Bluebells this year, it's where I took these a few years back
