These two guys in an SUV grabbed onto a rider’s bike and held her, wouldn’t let her go (1st ave). . The traffic cop then told them they had every right to hold on to her and block her.

Here we are, a week into Bill de Blasio's three-week "major enforcement action" against NYC bike lane violations. Let's stop by Second Avenue and see how it's going! (you're gonna want the sound on for this one)

My brother called to say that he and his wife found a great new apartment in Sunset Park, and he's even thinking about getting a bike. When I hung up the phone, I felt happy but also uneasy, and I realized that as excited as I am for him to , I'm worried for his safety...

Hey how is the protected 26th lane supposed to work between 7am and 4pm on school days? This is a genuine question -- should I be leaving the bike lane and merging with traffic? This is between 10th and 11th ave.

And because I'm a masochist, here's the higher def video. If you thought it was dumb before, it gets dumber when you realize they merged even when I was blaring MULTIPLE 'hey asshole, don't hit me' devices. Deaf or malicious, given that the SUV in front got by fine?

More shenanigans. How many people have to die for physical barriers to be put in place? pa:kst4216

Just want to highlight the poetic perfection of the top photo. If this ⁦⁩ sees nothing wrong with taking a smoke break in the middle of lane, maybe he shouldn’t be a “professional” driver? ⁦

Please move your trucks out of the bike lane before someone gets hurt. This is on Queens Boulevard and Horace Harding expressway , underneath the LIE, Queens. This is going on everyday.

Thanks for the heads up . We heard your complaints about a blocked pedestrian crosswalk & lane on 2nd Avenue & East 84th Street. Officer Conley & Barbour ticketed the truck & had it moved.

10 years ago, I woke up inside a CAT scan machine at St. Luke’s Hospital in Manhattan. Did a car hit me? My helmet had a dent; I don’t remember anything else. I turned out OK, but 15 cyclists have died in the NYC streets this year. We won’t stand for it—time’s up.

Took my son to the public pool in Gowanus. On the way back, we got caught in the rain. Which sucked, but fucking assholes who park their cars in the brand new “protected” bike lane on 4th ave make it the worst. I hate these selfish assholes. Fix this

Hey you are failing the 1000s of -ers who use the Williamsburg Bridge. We shouldn’t lose the bike lane just because there is milling and paving going on at this stretch of S 5th. You could have easily put up temporary barriers if you cared about
