Proud & downright emotional at the premiere of a new Emmeline Pankhurst documentary. A really personal story about how a young woman became the leader of a radical movement. Coming to the BBC in June, absolutely brilliant.

Throwback 2015 I posted “This is nuts! Just found out my Auntie Louise is one of these women! Great initiative! 20 great women shortlisted to be immortalised'” She got to the final six but she would have been happy with the winner 💜💚

If you marched today in Mcr, remember this - there is now a statue of Emmeline Pankhurst but no suffragette museum, no investment to save her house for the nation. It’s a travesty. Follow & campaign now for it to be a national centre
