Plus there was near unanimous support in Parliament for the 2008 Climate Change Act, and signing upto the 2016 Paris Climate Accords. The idea here’s no mandate for this is total nonsense.

So, over 90% of voters did vote to be net carbon neutral by 2050 at the latest. It’s the will of the people and there is a clear democratic mandate for it.
