Disgusting and inhumane but supported by many governments. Australia claims to have the best welfare practices in the world when it comes to this grubby, cruel, medieval trade and gives itself a pat in the back frequently, ignoring all the evidence otherwise.

Shamefully, is defending live calf exports in court – despite pledging to abolish this cruel trade. How dare it betray innocent calves! Please urge to end its legal defence of live exports

Ask yourself, is this a humane way to treat animals? This poor animal was on her way to slaughter after a horrendous sea journey. Many arrive blinded by the uric acid. Is this the way a civilised society treats the defenceless? If the “no”, then now.

Another live export will leave Ramsgate Port today. UK sheep have been exported as far afield as Bulgaria & Hungary and UK calves slaughtered in the Middle East. These long cruel journeys must stop
