These poor animals are stumbling and slipping. One goes down completely. Were they vet checked after loading to see if any sustained injuries? I emailed Minister Creed and asked him to suspend shipments after the disaster in Romania. Looks like he doesn't care...

>14,000 sheep drowned or were crushed to death on a capsized live export ship. 😢 254 have been found alive, and we think lifelong sanctuary is the least they deserve afer all they've been through. Do you agree? SIGN here:

Another shipment going to Libya from Cork, just over a week after that awful tragedy in Romania. Why are we sending cattle to a war torn country? This barbarity has to stop

ROMANIA LIVE EXPORT DISASTER UPDATE: 70 more sheep have been rescued in the last hour. Thank you again to everyone who has put pressure on the government to resume rescue efforts. There is hope yet for at least some of live export's latest victims.

Australia's cattle indusry is cutting off parts of animals' bodies while they are fully-conscious... and with NO pain relief whatsoever. How is this legal?!

The life of an animal is as important to them, as yours is to you. Free range, cage free, high welfare are terms to make you feel better about the choices you make and have nothing to do with animals. Make better choices, go vegan

3 vessels are heading to Ireland to collect cattle to take to Libya and Turkey. 3 vessels that are old converted car transporters, like the one that capsized in Romania. Will suspend the shipments while we wait for the cause of the tragedy to come out?

How unutterably sad this is. The export of live animals for slaughter ought to be banned worldwide, and I'm pleased the UK will lead on this when we've left the EU (which sustains the cruelty and suffering).

Appalling. Of course we have the "highest standards in the world". Shame they aren't enforced. 'Horrific' footage of live cattle having horns removed in Australia sparks outrage

As usual.. When anything goes wrong it is the animal rescuers that clean up after the industry's cruel incompetence. Anyone supporting this industry should be ashamed. Oh that's right they are in hiding.

And an investigation into why there was a delay of 2 days in rescuing sheep being slowly suffocated on board. People on the ground seem to think was due to apathy towards sheep welfare, not safety concerns for rescuers. Hope you fine the exporters out of business &
