Nothing conventional about me - those decisions are made higher - as a palaeontologist I see what’s happened in the past with temperature rises etc - what I can effect is campaigning for more renewable energy and push for fracking ban

Fracking. It's an environmental disaster. Amarillo is already suffering from high levels of arsenic and other heavy metals in their drinking water due to fracking in the area.

Fracking halted for 3rd time after biggest earth tremor yet. Extraction of shale gas poses risks of water contamination and locks the UK in to a future of fossil fuel dependence at a time when green energy should be a priority.

No amount of regulations can make fracking safe. I fought such a bill in CA in 2013. It passed and in the two years the study it authorized was being done, the industry injected toxic fracking wastwater into drinking water acquifers 2500 times. Vote for Tim.

On my way to Leeds this morning to speak at Labour's anti-fracking campaign meeting. Labour will ban fracking & we will transform our democracy to ensure money doesn't speak louder than the people. If we don't do the latter, we cannot sustain the former.
