Got niggling, growing realization that the entire situation was long pre-ordained All planned - Boris, Leave lies, FUBAR withdrawal agr't, UKIP/Farage/Brexit Party, sideshow Tommy, inept May, clock run-down. Fly-in-ointment "sorted". Can't stop em 🆘

This has made my day and l've chipped in my contribution! I hope there are dozens of lying politicians quaking in their boots. As to the morality of crowd funding: public prosecutions are involuntarily crowd funded by the taxpayer, so what's the odds.

After three years of political regression, today's decision by the courts to quash is the final nail in the coffin for transparency & democracy . The very man who propagated lies has been allowed to walk free from accountability!

Very proud to have helped crowdfund this. Though crown court is going to demand a lot more cash (link to donate below)...

One argument in the case is that it should be the public who hold politicians to account, through the ballot box, when they lie. The problem is that, if you lie well enough, the public reward you with their votes. Democracy itself depends on evidence and reason.

Forget any political beliefs we may have, is right. When politicians lie democracy dies. challenges the legal right for Members of Parliament to lie to the public about public spending.

SMR | UPDATE | Thrown Our By High Court | In the past few minutes the proposed case against Tory PM front runner for "misconduct in public office" has been thrown out by the High Court. A truly sad day for justice and democracy.

If everyone who has ever posted a less than complementary post about Johnson supported this by either chipping in a few quid if they can afford it, or sharing the post if not, this would be fully funded by tomorrow.

That crowdfunded private prosecution was very successful. Ok it was turfed out of court the case was so weak & amateurish and Johnson is 1-5 to be PM. But it did raise nearly half a million for 29 yr old ‘businessman’ Ball. Still no independent accounts published.

This is extremely bad news. I was hoping justice would be served against Boris Johnson.
