Just went on Sky News to discuss the situation. The Ukrainian authorities are playing a dangerous game/affecting their own credibility. But media colleagues who harshly judge Babchenko for going along with the authorities are doing so from a privileged position.

So faked his own death, pinned it on Putin, then was resurrected, then said it was a Ukranian intel Operation to "protect" him...and now he is demanding 50 to 60 thousand USD to do interviews. I mean what would anyone ask him? What kind of fake blood he used?

Fake killer gives BBC ‘details of plot’ Note no evidence given of any Russia govt involvement, that all key participants appear to be Ukrainian, and that even the alleged chief plotter states he was all along working with spy agency SBU

While promptly reacting to the fake murder staged by regime in Kiev, major Western media & officials keep a blind eye when Russian and Ukrainian journalists labeled as "pro-Kremlin" are killed. Double standards & hypocrisy.

What a whitewashing by - didn’t just blame Putin & his/our system with all attributes (corruption, formalism, nepotism, etc) for deaths. He rejoiced at the suffering: “I’ll spin your tragedy on my dick”, whatever it means

Now we know the BBC and MSM reported a fake death without fact-checking, how many other "breaking news" handy propaganda pieces are entirely fictional? BBC 'journalism' 😅😅😂

it’s simple really: The Russians were trying to kill Babchenko. The SBU had to make them think was dead so they would stop trying to kill him so the SBU could catch them when they tried to kill him! See?

Side note to the confusing case: the suspect of the assassination is director of the Ukrainian arms manufacturer Schmeisser, to which most media refer to as Ukrainian-German. But CEO of German Schmeisser claims, an Ukrainian woman stole the company 4 yrs ago from him.

"death simulation" is textbook example of poorly staged provocation, like MH-17 or "Skripal case", hastily taken by Russophobes to blame Russia to their own embarrassment.

When “died,” what did we say? “This will never get solved. There’s no protection for journalists in Ukraine.” We found out that Babchenko went along with the authorities when told of a threat. We know exactly what kind of danger he was in, so why get angry at him?

doubting the reality of an alleged tragedy or death is not something to do lightly - but , , the tell us our first question about every item of ”news” - even alleged deaths - should be “how real is this?"
