I'm not saying that the concert announcement at the fair on Monday is going to be Nickelback, but I'm not not saying that either.

But roundabouts cut ped fatalities about 90%...and FHWA refuses to mandate roundabouts by demanding no more traffic signals, an obsolete technology that kills, injures, delays and global warms. NY DOT halted signals 15 years ago in favor of roundies.

Yep, if we adopt the new measures and then add local police chief as first licensing, we could attain topmgun violence rate, i.e., Mass., and reduce VT deaths about 50 aa year.

A victim myself as innocent bystander of a .45 bullet though the gut, VT gun deaths are about three times the rate of best state, border state Mass.—this means these new gun VT violence measures cut into the 50 excess VT gun deaths each year, many of them suicides.

Excited that a Subway is coming to Pearl St. Also, a good time for me to re-argue that: some fast-casual, affordable, yet healthy, food options (though not local & probably corporate) in our walkable downtown area is better than not having another < $6 meal option.

Listening to neighbors discuss at the Ward 5 NPA at Pizza 44. If the mission of police is *keeping people safe* by preventing & responding to crime & disorder with & for our neighbors—and it is!—it starts by listening to what neighbors need, think, and want.

I'm so happy about this. I've heard for years from our small artisans/craftspeople/cooks/roasters/brewers/builders/makers/devs/healers/creators in that it's been really hard to start something new b/c of the red tape here. This is a great change for our community.
