Dido Harding says they didn't foresee a big increase in demand for tests as schools and universities returned and we entered the season of colds, flu and other infections. A year ago that kind of stupidity would have been surprising but not any more.

I'm pretty sure, if we really did have a Test and Trace system run by the NHS, it would be hugely more effective than the Tory Government's Test and Trace system run by Serco. And wouldn't it be great if stopped calling it the NHS Test and Trace system. It's not!
