Advice for those with no experience of . When you see a child having what appears to be a meltdown in public, just walk past and keep your mouth shut. Don’t shake your head, don’t stare, just get on with your day. Your shitty stare doesn’t help anyone. Best mum I know..

Biggest milestone yet. Charlie is able to use AAC to communicate basic needs such as “I want + item”. Today I asked him what he wanted and he tried to answer with his VOICE. Sounds like “I want toast”. And he wasn’t echoing!! Do you hear it too or is that a stretch?

Must read article on the stress families are under “day-to-day life can be a roller coaster for many families and sometimes people outside the family unit, like extended family, friends and co-workers, just don't get it.”

Looking at me you wouldn't know that I was once a kid who hid under her bed at the slightest of noise. As a teenager, I would spend days indoors. With support, I realised my capabilities. If someone said I’d one day drive a car in the Greek mountains I’d call them crazy.
