As a child, I was told I wouldn’t achieve what others could achieve. As a teenager, people judged as I was studying at a lower level to them. Today, I wear my hat with pride as I graduate university with a Bsc honours degree. An incredible journey.

Time Bomb! if autism rate reaches 1 out of 2 = 2 m. boys born 2017. 1 m. autistic. $60,000 yearly to raise to age 40 = $60 B. Add in girls = brings it to $80 B Over 40 yrs (with no inflation) = 3 Trillion, 200 Billion Close to TOTAL expenditure for U.S. heath care in 2017

Today is my birthday. Was going to post something funny or cute. Instead I'll post a picture of my son sleeping off the he had this morning. I hate what vaccines did to him. I hate that so many kids like my son are the acceptable collateral damage.

Another related issue that totally pisses me off is... When people say kids can grow out of autism, or stop being autistic.. Ummm no, my son was officially diagnosed autistic 7yrs ago. If anything his autism has progressed and is only getting worse!

Today I met up with my learning support mentor & I told her I graduated. Barbara was a major part of my journey, she explained instructions in a way I could understand. She also became a friend who told me I “can” achieve my dreams. Today, we wave goodbye to university.
