We’re walking every day to a water treatment centre to fill large jugs of water just so kids can have a drink at the youth centre. Just think about that for a second.

This is what residents do to obtain safe, clean drinking water. This is Ontario, Canada, in the 21st century. So, to whoever said that was doing a good job, please, ask yourself whether this is a good job. Would you be willing to live like this?

I'm watching 's TL, especially these days with the suffering in . I'm convinced that he's incompetent but even worse ... he's callous. There will be no reconciliation until Indigenous people can drink their water.

Hey , maybe you can do something about bottling millions of litres of Ontario's fresh water and making a profit while Ontarians can't even drink their tap water.

If this were happening in Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto the situation would be addressed immediately. Mr. Trudeau it’s 2019. Why is this happening in Canada — a country of great wealth & resources?

Families in have waited years for the help they were promised by Trudeau. Now his Minister won't even commit to going there? If it was something their rich friends needed, they'd make it happen. People in Attawapiskat deserve better.

Every day that goes by without clean water in EVERY community across this country is a day we should all be ashamed. How are people supposed to live? Raise families? Clean water is a Reproductive Justice issue, period.

Hey and fix this now right freaking now. This has been going on far to long. Supply the water for free. Canada does not do this to it's own. Get the community's water supply fixed. deserves better from us.

We'll hear lots of buzzwords from , how he's "concerned" and how this situation is "unacceptable", but at the end of the day, he'll only be criticizing his govt for their abject failure to deliver clean drinking water.

I am positive that home builders, plumbers, nurses, teachers, accountants, et al, would volunteer time to change lives in remote communities like ... if there was a leader somewhere who would unite rather than divide. Who will get them together?

There was only a verbal commitment from Minister nothing written. The flight ( hunger strike) continues until we see an honest genuine written agreement between governments n FN. no word from colonial “ advocacy bodies”. Seriously?
