My photo of the Bubble Nebula! A stunning emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia 🌌 This photo was captured using a monochrome camera through specialized filters that isolate the prominent gases in NGC 7635. Mono is POWERFUL!

My USB 3 hub is giving me issues tonight. I suspect I'll be using my old hub. I keep getting camera dropouts, which is not good when it's running at -20C and suddenly heats up. I should have got an hour of data by now. . .

Okay, not wanting to rain on the here - just a genuine question. Has anyone tried taking an shot with mobile data/wifi switched off? I'm just trying to understand if it's as good as it looks, or it's adding stuff based on GPS/Drive data. Thanks 👍

Well. You could get a decent telescope, with a port to attach a decent camera. The scope acts as a huge lens

M45 Pleiades star cluster in the constellation Taurus. Taken 10/10/19 from Clarke’s Beach, NL Canada 🇨🇦. 58.5 minutes total integrated exposure. The moon was at around 93% illumination but was close to setting when I began photographing.

California Nebula only 30x120” rob and 60x300 Ha. I think I need to raise the gain and offset on my color cmos. I’m still happy with it though 🤠
