A1: Our justice system isn't broken—it's doing what it was designed to do. The prison system is built on the legacy of slavery, and poor folks and people of color have never been set up to win. In order to tackle the problem, we need to be honest about our history.

I also want to echo other tweets here—I'm a disabled American who has fallen in and out of homelessness and housing-insecurity year after year. We need and we deserve housing and healthcare first—sans any conditions that function as barriers!.

You talk about empowering community leaders and organizations in their efforts of prevention and bridging divides. , would you commit to having someone from your administration attend community meetings in cities both large and small around the country?

Julián, can you commit to a racial justice focused marijuana legalization plan? Too much profits are being funneled into white folks while Black/Brown folks remain incarcerated or with records. This is wrong and a mistake of legalization without racial justice.

Disabled students that enter higher education still struggle to be accommodated in classes, test, projects and even just access to buildings. As president how would you expand the ADA to make sure students are not being left behind in Higher Ed

Hey 👋🏼 thank you for releasing such a comprehensive and compelling plan for people with disabilities . Many people under Medicare experience unnecessary surveillance via the Electronic Visit Verification. How would your plan address this?

hey , intersex children frequently have their autonomy violated with unnecessary surgeries, while trans kids are blocked care. How would you create health autonomy for minors whose parents are harming them, including disabled, intersex & trans youth?

Many disabled children are abused by their parents & suffer as medical needs are withheld/sabotaged by parents, including MH, reproductive care, and ability to seek help if no parent will take them to a dr. How will you help disabled youth independently access care?

I’ve seen your plan for disability and to address healthcare for black and brown people, but how will those plans interact to create equity in access to healthcare for disabled people of color?

I have to say. I was leaning towards Sanders and Warren but seeing Castro's disability town hall? I am gonna have to give him a second look and see where he stands on other issues. His efforts here are not going unnoticed.

I don't think I've ever heard a Presidential candidate validate that our unjust criminal legal system is doing what it was designed to do. Such an important truth to acknowledge. History meets common sense meets courage. The Castro campaign.

. children are often denied sign language interpreters for social environments, ex: lunch recess, this can lead to serious miscommunications and outbursts. What will your administration do to ensure schools are creating a safe school for Deaf children?
