1/2 On Thursday, 25 April, we will co-host Day with the Australian High Commission. The day will begin with the Dawn Service at the Delhi War Cemetery at 5.30 am, followed by the Anzac Day gunfire breakfast at the NZ High Commissioner’s Official Residence.

Spent today researching my distant cousin Harold Ephraim Roy Coad, who was injured at the Somme on 25 October 1917. He was subsequently discharged as no longer fit for service and repatriated back to NZ. He committed suicide on 20 June 1922 at age 30. RIP Roy
