Big media event as re-opens historic synagogue in after 2.5 yrs of restoration. It looks beautiful. Introductory speaker described Egypt as ‘The land of religious tolerance, acceptance and diversity’ (and of course, the cradle of civilization)

I love rain and all, but I’ve never in my life seen a winter in where the rain has been this consistent. It has been raining on a daily basis since late last month, and will continue for at least the upcoming week. The world’s weather is getting weird.
