I got ~53% in my maths overall last year and got an E. This year it’s 14% to get an E and 55% for an A. I got 87% in my mechanics module and got a C. We need a standardised test for a levels like the GPA scores

This year a close friend committed suicide, one died after being hit by a drunk driver, my uncle died suddenly of cancer, my parents were getting a divorce, dealt with emotional abuse from my mum and still got A, B, D at + I’m fucking proud of myself if I do say so myself

Hang on, hang on... So you need 55% in some Maths papers to get an A, but the require 11 year olds to achieve around 90% to get on a Maths paper?

Dear 18 year old me who picked up your results 20 yrs ago: You will go on to be a successful Science teacher, despite failing Science. You will go on to have a career supporting young people's mental health, despite being an unhappy teen.
