You may want to think about how you travel and what can be done to make it sustainable and reduce the environmental impact. is quick, convenient & safe. Other methods like superfast yachts still take more time and aren't necessarily practical for everyone.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Charlotte airport. There are too many passengers for this little place. NOT a good hub for a major airline. Could barely walk without running into people. Like this all the way from C to E gates.

There is only so much that can be done by email, phone and video conference. Face to face discussion and interaction is important, especially for academics formulating new ideas. My conclusion is that travel in necessary.
