Bottoms was elected Mayor of Atlanta by 759 votes out of 92,169 total ballots cast, a difference of 0.8 percent. 759 votes is a team of 20 canvassers knocking on 38 doors each. In one afternoon. Volunteering on campaigns matters. Voting matters. DO. BOTH.

759 VOTES, Y'ALL! Keisha Lance Bottoms is the new mayor of Atlanta. Don't let anyone tell you your vote doesn't count. And THIS is why we can't let up on fighting voter suppression and gerrymandering.

I hope newly elected Keisha Lance Bottoms had time to send out a hearty "Fuck You Very Much" to The Intercept during her victory speech.

Keisha Lance Bottoms' lead grows by 84 votes in Fulton County, where the vote has been officially certified. Still waiting on Dekalb's certified voting totals. Mary Norwood still plans to formally request a recount

Mary Norwood wants everything to be recounted. The Absentee ballots, the military votes, the provisional ballots, low vote precincts, the hams, lambs, greens, tomatoes, potatoes, you name it!
