WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for Benton and Carroll Counties today. Light freezing rain moves in this morning covering most of NWA after morning rush hour. Untreated bridges and overpasses could become slick later this morning.

Power is off in Scatter Creek for about 15 minutes now. But thanks to the NEW multi-million dollar substation by Craighead Electric we now feel like we are at least living in a 3rd world country and not a 4th!

Light freezing rain continues this morning. Ground temps are warm so roads are just wet. Bridges and overpasses could become slick as they continue to cool down. Light freezing rain will continue through the day across Benton and Carroll counties.

early evening weather around the state is a bit on the wet side, but not to bad. Still seeing pockets of frzg drizzle in the mountains but the entire system is pulling out so no major impacts other than refreezing expected Temps near freezing in the north to near 60 south.
