You know you are too into weather when you toss a rubber band down and you see.... I wonder if anyone else sees the same thing.

An interesting idea from Arkansas- having warnings posted to electronic billboards! It would certainly grab my attention down the road. Thoughts?

Need some prayers right now. Here in Bella Vista and we are potentially in the path of a deadly situation with tornadoes. Already getting my plan ready.

Life-threatening and historic flooding, not seen by any in our lifetime, will continue along the Arkansas River. A record setting crest is expected by Sunday evening. Please heed any and all evacuation orders/road closures in the coming days.

Here are two models depiction of the storms late Sat night into Sun morning. Pretty decent model agreement on timing. Damaging wind is the big threat, but can't rule out tornadoes

Here is a vid I took of the Arkansas River right around 4 pm or so on Thursday 5/23. Gives an idea of how volatile the river is, as well as some of the interesting debris.

The tornado sirens near us have a hauntingly beautiful tone. 10/10 would recommend for warning of potentially imminent death.
