As reported elsewhere Arsenal have had an opening bid of £15m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney rejected - but there is optimism an agreement will be reached between the clubs, while personal terms for the 22-year-old Scotland international shouldn’t be a problem

A source close to Torreira has told me that the midfielder is happy at and is not agitating for a move. Working with Giampaolo again has obvious appeal but he is by no means desperate to go. I’m told it’s “bullshit” that he wants to leave because of the English weather.

For years so many of us used to blame Wenger for the lack of spending at . I have no problem admitting I was wrong. I just wish he was more upfront with the fans about how much money was really available. He took all the rap while the board got off Scott free 😕

Reiss Nelson walks into our team next season for me. He needs the same opportunities Guendouzi was given. He's direct, loves to beat his man and decent end product. Need him playing RW feeding crosses to Aubameyang.

William Saliba to Arsenal is extremely close. Huge developments yesterday. Deal expected to go ahead in the coming weeks. Arsenal scouts watched his final 7 games of the season and were hugely impressed. Jose Mourinho described him as the next Varane. Very good signing.

"I played with Bergkamp and he very rarely had a poor game. You knew what you would get out of him and that is what Mesut needs to do too. The best players are consistent. I want to see that from Mesut, he is a quality player but he goes in and out of games." - Ray Parlour

Reiss Nelson: “I want to go back to Arsenal & play. I’m more mature now. Hoffenheim made me grow as a person. I’m Arsenal through & through. All my family support Arsenal. That’s an interaction I have with the fans. It’s good. They support the young talent coming up through
