I wish would have mentioned that the latest bill in California was actually written by Chevron. was rammed through by and was the only courageous legislator to vote against it.

It is beyond ironic that Wiener is trying to sell this monster of a bill as a "climate" bill… especially with his track record voting for and for grid regionalization. He has not even looked into whether the trades from REDD from Cap & Trade in the Amazon are still valid!

Farmers, manufacturers in CA already pay some of the highest utility bills in the country. These costs factor into the prices CA pay for their food products. CARB’s proposal would hit CA in the pocketbook every time they fill shop for groceries or pay the electric bill.

& strongly OPPOSE . This JOB KILLER would add a $275 head tax to every company with 500+ employees. Our businesses are already struggling - taxing them more doesn't help recovery.

So, why did you support that included ? That program privatizes rainforests in the Amazon, evicts the indigenous people who live there so polluters here can claim "credits" with Cap & Trade.

This coming from a guy that in 2017 refused to hear concerns about and making the mechanism the ONLY mechanism for “regulating” emissions from oil and gas operations in the state. He still won’t admit to his pro-market background...
