Yes, it is time to talk about one of the most iconic and recognizable villains in Disney's rouges gallery. The fur-obsessed, fashion-crazed, creepy-as-hell devil woman who still can't drive correctly. Does this incarnation of her live up to that? Well...

Not that Cruella had any reason to. But her failing to take their parents into account cost her everything. They sent word out about there lost pups, and after some considerable hardships, the Dalmatian family was reunited. With help, of course...

It was popular to think, especially after the live action movie was released, that if Cruella understood the dogs, she'd feel differently about what she planned on doing to them... This episode throws that theory out the window.

I mentioned that I enjoyed a good villain defeat over a redemption arc in fiction. And this delivers. Characters like Cruella. Sure, they're fun to watch. But only when we see them lose. And she loses hard. Beaten by animals and her own family.

And finally! We arrive at the year 2020. Pongo and Perdita have saved their family and probably lived happily the rest of their lives and we now watch their great-great-great-grandchildren living happily. Worrying about things like crush's and finding aliens.

Another TvTrope in full play here? "Kick the dog" Meaning, "Taunt you victim at their lowest point." And boy, does she enjoy doing this! She makes a point of telling Doug and Delilah about how she's going to kill them. AFTER the watch their children die!

See. While Cruella might have stolen the pups to spite Roger and Anita. She didn't count on two other factors. The pups parents, Pongo and Perdita. The two were already wary of her from the get go, knowing whatever plans she had for their children was evil.

And Cruella would make good on that threat. She hired Horace and Jasper to steal the pups and hide them away in her family's ancestral home. She even called Anita to offer her sympathies to throw off suspicion. She had it all planned out. Almost perfectly...

((Deep breath)) (internally) "1...2...3..." "The curl in her lips, the ice in her stare. All innocent children had better beware! She's like a spider waiting for the... Kill! Look out for, Cruella De Vil..." Good morning, friends. Today's going to be fun.

To sum up Hunter. He's the very definition of choosing who you are. He doesn't have to let his families past define him. He chooses not let his great-aunts hate become his. And he chose to defend those that can;t defend themselves. Quite angelic for a De Vil

And it's not just animals that would be Cruella's down fall. Since Cruella is such in awful person her own family think's she's nuts. And her abuse of Hunter would earn her the odd honor... Of being her machines only seen, LIVING subject...

This version of Cruella is borderline inhuman. A tall, super-thin frame that looks like she had her organs removed. Her skin is cracking and flaking as she repeatedly sprays this, stuff on it. And her mental state? The US. political climate is more stable.

However. There's something about this Cruella that makes her FAR scarier than just her appearance. See, everything I mentioned from OG movie? She remembered that. She held onto it. Plotting from it... This Cruella did something truly horrifying...

So, Cruella has ticked every box for sheer, evil. Kidnapping children with intent to kill them, taunting their mother and father about how they can't save them. Destroying a child's toy just cause you can. This show makes Cruella, to be a certified, bitch.

In the span of a few MINUTES this poor kid is betrayed and abandoned by everyone in his life he thought cared about him. His friend, his family. And now has the realization that he's helped send 99 children to their deaths. If that isn't a woobie, IDK what is
