R1D3 Alrighty!! I last meditated on 30th may. It's been 17 days since then. So last night I was thinking about how I let my strong bad habits overpower my weak good habits. And I decided, I will sit and Meditate for not less than 2 hours and 30 mins.

Day 4 of I found I had more focus during my sit than in the past few days, and felt calmer. I was also half falling asleep, but...

And I did it, sat at 12:40. Initially for 1 hour. Then decided to continue for 1.5 hours more. Took 10 min breaks in bw And I am so proud and happy for it. It really feels good when you go out of your comfort zone and do something you wanna do so badly.

This too... I'm publicly committing to the 100DaysOfMeditation Challenge starting today! Today some road work (sledgehammering) was going on just outside my home. Good practice for accepting chaos...

finished my 3rd day of it does feel weird to just sit there for a few mins not doing anything, but the more I think about it, the more I wanna tell everyone that we all should be doing that, just slow down at one point in our day

Day 1 in the books. Did about 12 minutes of Metta (loving-kindness) meditation. Hoping to bring those well-wishes into the rest of my day.

D1: I felt like my head just got hard reset. Calmer, less distracted, less racing thoughts. I like this. Question: is music or a bell a good idea? It just feels like something harmonious may make it easier for me.

Went back to meditating early morning (before coffee). Definitely makes a diff. Today I didn't have many thoughts cross my path during my session. The few I did I was mostly successful with "letting them go" and not interacting with them.

Day 3 of : I learned that I should prob meditate in the morning before consuming coffee - couldn't get settled well enough today, my heart rate was causing a discomfort in my diaphragm (not sure how else do describe it) that distracted my breathing focus.

Day 2: Can I give up ‘the search’—the search for happiness, what’s next, what’s more, etc. and just pay attention to what’s here? I’m seeking a state of equanimity in the quality of my attention today.
