Day in the life of a Lebanese: wakes up, can’t shower b/c no water, goes to Bank to withdraw money, No money in Bank, only receives a small sum. Takes money and pays for electric bill and private generator, but there is no electricity & no fuel. Rinse & repeat

The march stopped to protest in front of Electricité du Liban. We’ve been having increasingly frequent power cuts this past week.

The current minister of energy wants us to call to explain the problem we're facing. My problem is I'm barely getting 8 hours of electricity a day. Mr. I'm a perfectionist vowed 24-hour power supply when he held the ministry back in 2010.

Thanking MEA for using the 1,507 $ to LL rate is just absurd. MEA is owner by BdL, imagine just imagine if it were not to abide by the exchange rate of its owner. 😖
